Amber is a Lubbock native who brings a unique professional background and a detail-oriented mindset to her role as Development Coordinator at Wheelhouse. She supports the development team through site research, zoning analysis, project coordination, and scheduling, helping keep projects organized and moving forward.
Before joining Wheelhouse, Amber spent eight years in the medical laboratory industry, where she advanced into a safety and administration role overseeing compliance, policies, inspections, and day-to-day operational standards. She later pursued a career in law enforcement, earning her Peace Officer certification and serving as a patrol officer with the Lubbock Police Department for five years. Those experiences strengthened her ability to stay organized, solve problems under pressure, and adapt to new challenges.
Today, Amber enjoys digging into zoning maps, researching new sites, and helping bring commercial development projects to life. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, collecting rocks from the places she visits, and spending time with family and friends.
